Heather is an owner/founder of 1852 Media & provides clients personalized attention so that their vision can shine. She is a licensed attorney and voracious reader who adores falling in love with a new book. She is passionate about helping clients come up with creative solutions, build their brands and expand their reach. Heather also owns the company Very Vermont, that creates and engraves custom products. Heather is originally from Pennsylvania but currently lives in Vermont with her husband, their son, two dogs, thirteen goats & a cat.
Veronica Adams

Veronica joined 1852 Media in 2017 after several years of practicing law. A creative type at heart, her strengths shine in promotions and marketing, where she is free to be her quirky, imaginative self. As a publicist, Veronica focuses on bringing individuals and businesses together with new audiences, as well as building and strengthening each client’s unique brand. When she’s not at her desk or doing market research (reading), you can find her spending time with her husband and son, playing with her small menagerie of pets, or cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Jackie joined 1852 Media in December 2020. She provides PA services and is an exceptional social media manager for multiple bestselling authors. She currently lives in Texas.

Mikey is an owner/founder of 1852 Media & is a USA Today Bestselling Author of erotic romance, crime and psychological thriller novels. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and CEO of the non-profit After Action that seeks to build a world that thrives post-trauma. He also provides writing coach services to help authors work through any blocks and develop their scenes to their ultimate potential. He currently lives in Vermont with his wife, Heather, their son and a menagerie of animals.

We specialize in blogger outreach, cross-promotional opportunities, strategic development, marketing strategies, advertising placement and creation, graphic creation and placement, and simply putting together the best possible plan - and then executing it - for each client. We also help authors between releases with planning out sales, designing new covers, and coming up with creative and new ideas to build buzz for your backlist.
We also offer public relations, messaging, and media outreach assistance.
We work with you to increase your brand awareness, outreach, advertising, newsletter creation & optimization, social media management and comprehensive plans to elevate your brand to ensure that you're sending the right message to your audience.
